 No, all children under 18 years must have a parent present for training. 

That depends on the maturity of your child.
Generally teens but I have worked with children as young as 7. 

Younger siblings can be included in the training on a case by case basis.
For very young children, I train you to educate and protect your child. 

• Children under 7:  I will teach you how to teach your young child.
• Youth 7-12: A classroom teaching experience.
• Teens 13-18: A hands-on classroom teaching experience and may include live shooting, if you choose.
• Parents: A hands-on classroom teaching experience and live shooting, if you choose. 

Know that you are not alone. 

It's a very normal reaction to something that could take a life.
We work together, at your pace. You will be supported and empowered through professional education, in a private and comfortable setting. 

You don't have to like guns to learn how to be safe around them. 

The reality is that you or your teen will come in contact with a firearm at some point. Educating yourself helps avoid tragic accidents. 

If you have a firearm in your home, even locked away, you should know how to operate it safely.

Because the 5 part program is customized to your families unique needs, the length of time will vary. During our initial conversation we will discus a plan of action based on your family and situation.

This type of training should not be looked at as one and done. These are perishable skills and repetition is important for muscle memory. Also, your child's needs will change as they grow.

After the initial training we can supplement with continuing education and support, as needed for you and your teen.

We can also check in at transitions in your teens life. We can work together to prepare them for entering middle school, entering high school and getting ready for college.

I aim to build a relationship with you and your family and to be your personal safety resource. Building ongoing trust with your teen is paramount.

Classroom instruction is in the comfort and privacy of your home.

Training is coordinated based on both of our schedules.
